KATHUA, Dec 8: There was a huge traffic jam on Jammu –Pathankot National Highway as Akali Dal held a massive protest at Madhavpur against the Punjab Government and blocked the National Highway from 10 am to 5 pm.
The traffic jam was witnessed for many kilometers on the Highway from both sides and commuters were put to lot of trouble. The SHO Sujanpur, Iqbal Singh said that the movement of vehicular traffic was disturbed on NH from both sides due to blockade.
Later the traffic was turned via Dena Nagar, Nagri Parole and other alternative routes to Jammu and other areas of Punjab and other states of the country to clear the jam on NH.
