POONCH, Nov 22: In a significant move to ensure road safety and compliance with traffic rules, the Traffic Police, supported by local police at Behramgalla today challaned 45 vehicles on Mughal road for various violation.
Official sources said that on the directions of senior officials, ASI Abdul Hamid of Traffic Police Mughal Road in collaboration with the Incharge of Police Post Behramgalla conducted a joint naka (checkpoint) on Mughal Road today. The operation was part of a special drive aimed at curbing traffic rule violations and ensuring the smooth movement of vehicles on this vital route.
During the naka 45 vehicles were challaned for various traffic violations including overloading over-speeding and failure to produce valid documents. The police emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic regulations to prevent accidents and maintain safety on the roads.
This joint effort reflects our commitment to ensuring that Mughal Road remains safe for all travelers. Such drives will be conducted regularly to deter violations. he said.
