Traffic restored on Mughal road

POONCH, June 5: Historical Mughal road, connecting Poonch-Rajouri districts with Kashmir valley has been temporarily restored for traffic movement after five days.
Official sources said that a major landslide blocked this road near Ratta Chamb bridge few days ago after which men and machinery were engaged on the restoration work. As the landslide was major, it was impossible to clear debris completely that is why a single passage has been made to temporarily restore the road for vehicular movement.
DTI traffic Poonch Shoket Amin said that many stranded vehicles coming from Kashmir towards Poonch were crossed from there, while Deputy Commissioner Poonch Yasin M Choudhary said that one way traffic from Poonch towards Shopian shall be allowed tomorrow.
