RAMBAN, Aug 9: The vehicular traffic on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway remained suspended for about 15 hours, after landslide near Maroog in Ramban area today.
Official sources said that due to the impact of highway widening work and rain for the last couple of days in the area, a massive landslide took place near T-2 Tunnel, between Maroog and Kela Morh, about 6 kms ahead of Ramban town towards Banihal at around 5 am today.
With this the movement of vehicles came to halt on the busy highway. A large number of goods carriers and passenger vehicles remained stranded through out the day today along this highway.  Click here to watch video
