It is a happy development that Katra is going to be connected with the rest of country. Train connectivity will further boost the tourism sector in the area. It will be now easy for pilgrims to visit Vaishnodevi. Earlier, passengers had to board buses to reach the base camp. While doing so they had to make a tough journey.
With the chugging of train on Katra track, it should be ensured that train ticket are not sold in the blackmarket. Most of the passengers face great difficulties while booking tickets. Those found guilty of blackmarketing should be dealt with according to the law of the land. It should be endeavour of the Railways to make arrangements for hasslefree journey.
