UDHAMPUR, Oct 19: A 5-day refresher/orientation training program for officers and officials of Crime Branch concluded here today at SKPA.
Eighteen officers and officials from Crime Branch, J&K participated in the training.
The course featured extensive deliberations on key aspects of Crime Branch operations including the concept of FIR, evidentiary value, financial literacy, bank frauds, Income Tax frauds, use of SAECK (Sexual Assault Evidence Collection Kit) and the concept of social defence.
The training sessions were enriched by lectures from prominent speakers including Ajay Bandral, Advocate, Rahul Pandit, Director of Ideogram Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd, Jammu and experienced Police officers, who addressed a range of relevant topics.
A valedictory function was held at the Academy, with Rajinder Kumar Gupta, SSP, Deputy Director (Indoor), SKPA was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion SSP Gupta urged the participants to embrace technology and modern investigative techniques in their work.
He also encouraged them to share the knowledge gained during the training with their fellow Police personnel.
The course was coordinated by Tilak Raj, Inspector, with assistance of HC Randip Singh.
