JAMMU, Jan 14: A specialized training programme of police personnel of Jammu Zone on collection of various kinds of evidences and exhibits from the scene of crime has started by the Forensic Science Laboratory here.
On the second phase of training programme, 4 police personnel each from district Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar were put on 10 days comprehensive training at FSL, Jammu from January 2. The participants were given intensive training for collection of evidence from scene of crime. Forensic kits were allotted to the trainees.
On the closing ceremony of second batch today, Anand Jain, IPS, Director FSL J&K, briefed trainees about utilizing their expertise for collection of evidence from the spot of crime. He emphasized upon the importance of collection of evidence in investigation of cases.
