JAMMU, Apr 24: A one day training programme for field functionaries of District Statistical & Evaluation Officers (DSEOs) of Jammu and Kashmir State was organized on annual survey of Industries 2017-18 under the guidance of Director General Economics and Statics here, today.
Mrs Sunita Kanchan, Joint Director (Surveys), read the welcome address and emphasized on the importance of the training programme. She expressed her trust that the field functionaries will collect reliable and accurate qualitative data.
She also acknowledged the role of annual surveys of Industries in policy making and planning. She encouraged the participants to take full benefits of this opportunity so that a quality data could be obtained for preparation of ASI reports.
The training was imparted by Rajesh Kumar, and R K Sharma, both SSOs from Field Operation Division, Jammu National Sample Survey Organisation . The training was attended by the officers and officials of Directorate of Economics and Statistics and District Statistics & Evaluation Officers. Mrs Saroj Bala Chouhan, Deputy Director and Rakesh Bamba, Statistical Officer proposed the vote of thanks on the occasion.
