JAMMU, Dec 21: Three-day training programme on “Role of Marketing Intelligence in Agricultural Marketing” concluded today at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu.
The training programme was sponsored by CCS, NIAM, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, Govt of India and was organized by Directorate of Extension and Directorate of Education in collaboration with Division of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management from 19th to 21st December 2019.
The training programme was a blend of theoretical and practical sessions. Resource persons from SKUAST-Jammu, SMVDU, NABARD and University of Jammu delivered the talks and interacted with the participants about strong marketing intelligence for efficient agricultural marketing.
Speaking on the valedictory function, Dr K S Risam, Director Extension and Course Director of the training programme, appreciated organizers and coordinators for successful conducting the training programme. He suggested the participants to aware the farmers about marketing intelligence and help them to market their products/ produce through strong market linkages.
Earlier, Dr T A S Ganai, Director Education, Course Director, briefed the guests about the three days event and also took the feedback from the participants about the programme. Dr Bharat Bhushan, Coordinator requested the participants to disseminate the information at ground level so that farmers are benefitted.
Dr Anil Bhat, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the training programme presented vote of thanks. The compeering was done by Niket Sharma, MBA (ABM) student.
