Training programme organized for implementation of BAS

JAMMU, July 6: For successful implementation of the Biometric Attendance System (BAS), which has been made mandatory by the Government, a training cum refresher programme was organised at the Directorate of School Education, Jammu, here today.
All the Principals, ZEOs, DDOs and other officials of Jammu district participated in the programme, wherein training was imparted by the resource persons from the NIC and also an interaction programme was organised. The queries raised by the participants were answered for the successful implementation of BAS at the ground level.
While addressing, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria, Personnel Officer, Directorate of School Education, Jammu, stressed for the strict implementation of BAS in whole Jammu province as per the instructions of Rakesh Kumar Srangal, Director School Education, Jammu. He further stated that instructions in this regard have already been conveyed to the respective CEOs of Jammu division who have been  asked to organise such refresher cum orientation programmes in their respective  districts by involving all the stakeholders i.e. Principals, ZEOs, Headmasters etc.
