JAMMU, Mar 28: Minister for Finance, Abdul Rahim Rather today said that there was no possibility of framing transfer policy for the Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers and they would have to work in the engaged schools till regularization of their services.
Responding to the queries of Balwant Singh Mankotia, Krishan Chander Bhagat, Ashok Kumar, Hakeem Mohd Yaseen and Ashwani Sharma in the Legislative Assembly, the Minister said, “transfer of ReTs is not possible within the framework of the scheme”, adding “they have to work in the school where they are engaged till their regularization as general line teacher”. He further said, “they would become eligible for transfer only after their regularization as such they should not raise this demand time and again”.
He, however, assured to look into the demand vis-à-vis timely release of honorarium to ReTs.
