JAMMU, Apr 22: The State Government today ordered transfer of 11 KAS officers and placement of 10 of them in the Special Scale.
Those placed in the Special Scale of KAS, include Nitu Gupta, Prediman Krishan Bhat, Anuradha Rani, Tariq Ahmad Zargar, Manohar Lal Raina, Ghulam Mohammad Dar, Manmohan Singh, Bhawani Rakwal, Smita Sethi and Anuradha Gupta.
Consequent upon this, transfers and postings of 11 KAS officers were also ordered with immediate effect.
Narinder Singh Bali, Additional District Development Commissioner, Kathua, has been transferred and posted as Joint Transport Commissioner, J&K, relieving G A Sofi, Director, State Motor Garages, of the additional charge of the post.
Babila Rakwal, Member, J&K Services Selection Board, was transferred and posted as Administrator, Associated Hospitals Jammu vice Rachna Sharma, who has been transferred and posted as Member J&K SSB.
Nitu Gupta, Deputy Labour Commissioner, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary Higher Education Department while Predimen Krishan Bhat, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Check-post), Lakhanpur, was transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Tax Planning), against an available vacancy.
Anuradha Rani, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Audit), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department while Manohar Lal Raina, Deputy Transport Commissioner, was transferred and posted as Secretary, State Information Commission, J&K, against an available vacancy.
Manmohan Singh, Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Kathua, vice Narinder Singh Bali.
Bhawani Rakwal, Joint Director, Industries and Commerce (Development), Jammu, was transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Reasi, against an available vacancy.
Smita Sethi, Joint Director, Information, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Hqr Jammu), against the newly created post while Anuradha Gupta, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu, was transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Jammu, against an available vacancy.
