JAMMU, Oct 25: In a stop-gap arrangement, the Government today ordered promotion of eight Senior Scale Stenographers of Heads of the Department cadre as Incharge Private Secretaries and also affected transfers and postings of the latter.
The promoted Senior Scale Stenographers included Reeta Mujoo, Senior Scale Stenograpoher with Joint Director Funds Organization Jammu; Ali Mohammad Mir, Senior Scale Stenographer in the office of DDC Kupwara; Bashir Ahmad Dar in the Office of DC Kulgam; Ali Mohd Ganai in the office of Chief Engineer PWD (R&B) Kashmir; Surinder Kumar in the office of CE Systems and Operation Wing, Jammu; Sheikh Feroz Ahmad in the Directorate of Geology and Mining; Mushtaq Ahmad Malik in the office of SE R&B Circle Srinagar Budgam and Ghulam Hassan Dar in the office of CE, PWD (R&B) Kashmir.
Further, one post is kept reserved for consideration of Placement of Narinder Sigh, Senior Scale Stenographer, Directorate of SchooI Education, Jammu as Private Secretary.
Consequent upon these promotions, transfers and postings of 12 Private Secretaries have been ordered with immediate effect.
Mohammad Ashraf Kadla, Private Secretary to Principal Government Medical College, Srinagar is transferred and posted as Private Secretary to Secretary Bureau of Public Enterprises and Floriculture Department.
Nasir Ahmed, Private Secretary to Director Horticulture (P&M) is transferred and posted as Private Secretary to Chief Engineer, Public Works (R&B), Jammu. Balvinder Singh, Private Secretary to Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, J&K is transferred and posted as Private Secretary to Divisional Commissioner, Jammu vice Moo1 Raj Bhagat who is retiring on superannuation on October 31, 2013.
Mohammad Altaf Zullah, Private Secretary (Secretariat cadre) awaiting orders of posting in GAD is posted as Private Secretary to the Principal GMC Srinagar. On their promotion, Reeta Mujoo, is posted as Private Secretary to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants), Ali Mohd Mir as Pvt Secy to Director General Hospitality and Protocol, Bashir Ahmad Dar as Pvt Secy to Div Com Kashmir and Ali Mohd Ganai as Pvt Secy to Commissioner Commercial Taxes, J&K. Surinder Kumar, on his promotion, shall continue at his own place of posting and a post of Private Secretary of HoD cadre from overall cadre strength is also transferred to the office of CE Systems and Operation Wing Jammu for purpose of drawal of his salary till his retirement.
Sheikh Feroz Ahmad is posted as Pvt Secretary to Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, Mushtaq Ahmad Mail as Private Secretary to Chief Wild Life Warden and Ghulam Hassan Dar as Pvt Secretary to Director Horticulture (P&M), J&K.
