JAMMU, Dec 18: A meeting of various Transport Unions with Transport Minister, Sunil Sharma was held here today. The transporters were led by BJP Transport Cell under S. Darshan Singh.
The transporters put forth their demands and Minister assured them to fulfill with in stipulated times.
The member of the Transport Unions, while briefing the Minister about their problems and grievances, said that no one has even expressed any concern towards them. They expressed gratitude to the Minister for coming forward and sparing time for the transporters.
The Minister in various cases issued on the spot instruction to the concerned authorities for immediate redressal of problems.
The Transport Union members who were present in the meeting included senior leader, Tarseem Kumar Sharma, All Cell Incharge BJP S. Varinderjeet Singh, Member Transport Cell Mahinder Singh, Taxi Operators Federation President Anchal Singh Manhas, Javid Ahmed general secretary Kashmir Tourists Federation, Darshan Mehra president Matardor Union, Kulwant Singh Jammu and Kashmir Company Motor Association, K.L Bhardwaj Auto Union, vice-president Ravinder Singh, Kashmir Taxi Federation, Auto Union, Nisar Ahmed Chairman Truck Operators Railway Station, Manmohan Singh, Tanker Union and Guru Charan Singh Tanker Union etc.
