Transporters of Jammu-Chhamb Bus Union hold meet

JAMMU, Apr 16: Taking strong notice of the working of Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in dealing with Akhnoor-Jourian Road which is in deteriorated condition, the transporters of Jammu-Chhamb Bus Union have appealed the Government for taking initiative with regard to improving the condition of this road at an earliest.
In a meeting held under the chairmanship of its president Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Jammu Chhamb Bus Union transporters said that despite been highlighted by the public many a time, the BRO as also the State Government are hardly serious in improving the bad condition of the road.
They said that the vehicles are damaged while plying on that road and the public especially the students are facing lots of problems due to the bad condition of the road.
The transporters further warned the Government for taking the agitational path if the issue is not solved at an earliest.
