JAMMU, July 2: There are lot of opportunities available for new as well as existed entrepreneurs in the country especially after Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s innovative Make in India and Start-up initiatives that changed spectrum of entrepreneurship in the country.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta after releasing a book titled,
‘Management Simplified – Principles and Practices’ authored by Dr Rohit Koul, a renowned writer.
Sohial Kazmi journalist, Dr. Darakshan Andrabi Chairperson Central Waqaf Development, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Tarun Uppal, Founder and Chairperson Nirbhay Bharat Foundation and others were also present in the function.
Kavinder Gupta said that BJP Government’s Make in India initiative is providing motivation to entrepreneurs. “India is developing country and it has large opportunities for entrepreneurs in the fields of tourism, energy sector, automobile sectors, textile, waste management and recycling, health sector, organic farming, media, toys, packing, transportation, food products, training and education, etc and books like the one written by Dr Koul serve the purpose of honing the skills by developing knack in management principles in multidisciplinary areas to tomorrow’s business leaders by weaving three threads through strategies, entrepreneurship, and active leadership.
“The book reflects the underlying and growing trend among students, including the undergraduates who can see themselves as entrepreneurs, good leaders, and active change agents, but not just as managers”, he added.
Dr. Darakshan Andrabi said by beginning new with an enterprising/changes the executive’s direction; this book content will give an energizing point of view on the specialty of the board that understudies can identify with. Sohail Kazmi said students are increasingly active as leaders at an early age and are sometimes painfully aware of the leadership failings they see in public and private organizations. It is the leader and leadership that combines the principles of management (the artist’s palette, tools, and techniques) to create the art of management and through the book.
Dr. Rohit has shared meaningful insights and case studies.
Tarun Uppal said that this book’s modular format easily maps to a POLC (Planning, Organizing, Leading, and Controlling) course organization, which was created by Henri Fayol and it would help the management students to expand their horizons in the field of management.
