DODA, July 17: An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale rocked Doda and Kishtwar districts today.
The tremors were felt in various parts of Doda and Kishtwar districts at around 10.07 tonight, leading to panic among the people of those areas. As per the reports, the earthquake was of 3.8 magnitude on Richter scale with epicenter in Doda.
A series of aftershocks have been occurring in Chenab Valley districts of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban after the first event on June 13. Some buildings have developed cracks in Doda and Kishtwar districts and people have been hit by fear in the affected areas.
