GHAZIABAD, June 8:
Four years after teenager Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj were found killed, the trial against accused dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar began here today.
The CBI, which probed the case, has sought examination of three of its witnesses which include a UP electricity department official Rajesh Kumar and a state police cameraman Chunni Lal, who had taken the photographs of crime scene besides forensic expert A D Saha.
In a setback to Aarushi’s mother Nupur Talwar, the Supreme Court had yesterday dismissed her review petition challenging the summons issued by the special CBI court here in the murder case and warned her of “exemplary costs” for any frivolous litigation in future. (PTI)
