Tribute to martyr

Sir,
Kush is tarah nibhao kirdar apna ke parda girne ke baad bhi talian bajti rahein  was the last message of  Col.M.N.Rai  to his troops before proceeding for action in Tral wherein he sacrificed his life after eliminating two dreaded Terrorists. Ironically he was adorned with Yudh Sewa Medal on this auspicious Republic Day. By virtue of his supreme sacrifice Col. Munna Rai has scripted the saga of outstanding Martyrdom in honour and glory of Motherland, leaving behind aged parents, young widow along with two minor daughters and a son. The Nation loved and guarded by fighter soldiers of the genre of this shining star who led from the front in the true spirit of Nation First can never be vanquished and disgraced by any military power on this globe in a full blown or proxy war like conflict. Whilst the Nation is reeling in a state of deep mourning of unsung Hero, his martyrdom brings to the fore few indispensable challenges coupled with onerous responsibility and bounden duty towards the martyrs and their forlorn families.
A sovereign democratic nation grants the freedom of speech but not to a point beyond infinity wherein any Tom Dick and Harry can call the names to the national heroes and lower their esteem in the estimation of masses. The case in point is Geelani, branded separatist leader  eulogizing the Pakistani terrorists who killed Colonel Rai.  This is a formidable challenge for the Government to take on this group of separatist and anti national elements in Kashmir valley. This is wholesale mockery of democracy and a grave threat to sovereignty of the country. Some kind of mechanism needs be promptly put in place by the Government to take care of the families of national heroes on perpetual basis. The ungrateful nation who forgets her brave hearts is condemned to ruin herself. Daring deeds of dare devils must form part of the curriculum of young students for their inspiration and emulation in the arena of national service.
Yours etc….
