RAJOURI, Dec 17: Tribute were paid to the victims of Alpha Gate firing victims and later a candle march taken out by the people and family members and relatives of the victims in Rajouri area here today.
On this day on December 17, 2022, two local people were killed in suspicious firing in front of Alpha TCP Military gate of Rajouri,
To observe Ist anniversary, the family members, relatives of the victims and villagers paid tribute to both the firing victims. They took out a candle march from the house of the two victims at Falyana up to Alpha TCP Gate.
On this occasion, the family members demanded justice and said that for the last one year, they are still waiting for justice.
The Dhangri shooting incident took place almost a fortnight after the Alpha TCP shooting incident. All the family members of the Dhangri victims got Government jobs and the families of the deceased received compensation and the militants involved in Dhangri killing have been killed or arrested but it is very unfortunate that the families of Alpha TCP firing incident are still waiting for justice.
