RS PURA, Dec 15: Senior Congress leader Late Darshan Lal Raina was paid tribute during a program organized at village Brij Nagar on his 8th death Anniversary today.
The ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Ankush Raina, son of Late Darshan Lal Raina, A large number of people associated with various social organizations reached the program and paid tribute to Late Darshan Raina by paying homage to him.
On this occasion, social worker NP Singh, former Panch Hari Chand, Sarika Sharma etc. after paying tribute to senior Congress leader said that Late Darshan Raina started his political journey from student life and by joining the Congress party, he always worked for the welfare and betterment of the society.
They said that the loss caused to the society and the region by his death 8 years ago has not been compensated till date. They said we should always work for the betterment of the society by following the path shown by such leaders and contribute in the service of others. On this occasion, Ankush Raina welcomed all the people and said that even today he is working for the betterment of the society by following the path shown by his father. He said that we can pay true tribute only by following the path shown by him. A langar was also organized on this occasion.
