JAMMU, Jan 28: A function was organized here today on the third death anniversary of Comrade K.D Sethi during which floral tribute were paid to him by his admirers including doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers, intellectuals, trade unionists and social workers.
Sethi was the last member of Constituent Assembly of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir State and was a great supporter of good politics.
Speakers on the occasion lauded his qualities and stated that he supported downtrodden classes of the society. They said that Sethi faced many ups and downs in his political life but never compromised with his ideology and principles because of which his ideology was accepted by all the sections of society.
The speakers in the function included Kabla Singh, Achal Dev Singh, Abdul Hafeez Fani, R.K Maini, Jugal Kishore Sharma, A.K Verma, I.D Sangra, Abdul Rashid Mughal, Babu Ram Sharma, Luder Mani, Yasin Itoo, Manzoor Kitchloo, Shabir Ahmed, Nazir Ahmad, Gohar Fani and others.
The programme was presided over by Kabla Singh and Abdul Hafeez Fani conducted the proceedings.
