REASI, Oct 17: District Police Reasi today paid rich tribute to martyr cop Kamal Kishore on fifth anniversary of his martyrdom.
In this connection, an impressive function was organized at Kamal Kishore Memorial Reasi. SgCt Kamal Kishore had attained martyrdom while fighting with terrorists in Srinagar in the year 2018. He was awarded Shaurya Chakra posthumously for his gallant action and bravery in the year 2021.
Besides Officers and officials of District Police Reasi, Deputy Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal, family members of the martyr, civil society members and respectables of Reasi and adjoining areas were present on the occasions.
While speaking on the occasion, SSP Reasi Amit Gupta highlighted the bravery and valour of the martyr SgCt Kamal Kishore and advised the youth to choose these martyrs as their role model. He further said that more such events will be organized in the District to pay tribute to the martyrs of District Reasi.
DC Babila Rakwal, while highlighting the gallant action and bravery of the martyr official cop, paid her tribute.
