KISHTWAR, July 13: Police here today organized a meeting with Next of Kins (NoKs) of martyr cops at District Police Lines (DPL) Kishtwar under Civic Action Programme (CAP).
On this occasion tribute were paid to Police martyrs and concerns of their NoKs were addressed.
The event fostered an atmosphere of respect, empathy, unity and camaraderie.
SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom presided over the event. Recognizing martyrs’ sacrifices and expressing gratitude to their service about 44 NoKs of Police martyrs were welcomed by SSP Kishtwar, Additional SP Kishtwar and Dy. SP DAR DPL Kishtwar and they were assured that they will remain an integral part of the extended Police family and the organization is committed to their well-being.
The event also included a shared lunch, providing an opportunity for the NoKs to connect, share stories and bond in an informal sitting.
Sewing machines were distributed as a gesture of appreciation, underscoring Police’s deep respect for the sacrifices made by the martyred cops.
Welfare measures were highlighted, demonstrating Police’s dedication to NoKs’ needs.
Concerns were voiced and SSP Kishtwar assured timely resolution.
The event concluded with vote of thanks promising continued support and future gatherings, strengthening understanding, respect and support within the Police organization and forging a lasting partnership.
