It is quite sad that father of Indian Green Revolution Dr M S Swaminathan is not with us now. He was a great personality of modern times who served the nation tirelessly throughout his life. The author has rightly called him as Kisan Vaigyanik rather than Krishi Vaigyanik as steps take by him were pre farmer. He and his contributiohn will be remembered by the nation for centuries. We have lost a diamond. Tribute to M.S Swaminathan.
