JAMMU, May 10: Like every year, the youth paid tributes to the people, who sacrificed their lives during militancy in the erstwhile Doda district on their Shaheedi Diwas today.
Many people participated in the programme which started with a candle march from Toph Sherkhania park to Toph Morh and culminated with floral tributes.
While addressing the gathering, Prabhat Singh recalled the struggle of the people and stressed upon the necessity to not forget the essence of their sacrifice.
Mohit Singh Sen one of the youth of Kishtwar recalled the contribution of the people for the nation as whole and Kishtwar in particular and assured that these sacrifices would not be forgotten.
Others who were present were Ashok Sen President Kishtwari Sanghatan Jammu, Kuldeep Bhandari General Secretary Kishtwari Sanghatan Jammu, Bhanu Shan, Saatvik Gupta, Dakshjeet, Anshik, Kartik, etc.
