Tributes paid to pilot

SRINAGAR, May 29: The Defence forces today paid tributes to Squadron Leader Saurabh Raghuvanshi who died in an aircraft crash in South Kashmir this week.
The tributes were paid at Air Force Station Srinagar by senior officers of Air Force, Army, personnel of Indian Air Force and families, a defence spokesman said.
“His mortal remains were brought in a coffin draped in tri-colour in full military honour carried by Air Force personnel. Wreath was laid on behalf of Marshal of the Indian Air Force, the chief of Air Staff, Air Officer Commanding in Chief Western Air Command, General Officer Commanding in Chief Northern Command, Air Officer Commanding J&K by Air Commodore B Balachandran, Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station Srinagar, Corps Commander Chinar Corps and military officers of Army and Air Force at Srinagar,” the spokesman said.
