JAMMU, June 13: Rich tributes were paid to veteran Congress leader Chuni Lal Sharma former Dy Chairman Legislative Council & former District President Congress Jammu (Urban) in a meeting held today commemorate his 20th death anniversary.
Om Chopra, Ex-MLA and President District Congress Committee Jammu (Urban) presided over the meeting.
Gurmukh Singh-former minister & vice president PCC, Senior leaders S.R.Sudhir, Krishan Lal Gupta, Jaswant Singh, Mian Nazir Ahmed, J.L.Kaul, Ch. Sukh Dev, Kirtan Singh, B.B.Gupta, Padmani Langeh, V. K. Sethi, M. L. Saraf were the prominent who paid tributes to Sharma.
The leaders while paying tributes to Sharma described him as a symbol of simplicity, honesty, humbleness and dedicated Congress leader who in his whole life worked for strengthening the party. Sharma fought communal forces to upheld the banner of secularism and socialism.
