Tributes paid to Kartar S. Komal

SRINAGAR, Dec 11: Gurmat Parcharak Sabha Jammu-Kashmir and Sikh Samaj Sudhar Sabha Kashmir members paid rich tributes to `Panth-Ratan’ Gyani Kartar Singh Komal on his 29th death anniversary.
A special meeting of the Sabha was held here today under the chairmanship of Gyani Surjeet Singh Badal, a veteran Sikh leader in which several members recalled the services of Panth Ratan Gyani Komal Ji and paid their floral tributes.
They termed Gyani Komal Ji as great religious leader, social reformer and educationist who served the community with dedication and core of his heart. He was the founder of Khalsa High School in Srinagar and Gurdwara Parbandhak Board in Kashmir. He took many welfare measures for his community.
