CHENNAI, Dec 7: Trojan Battery Company, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of deep-cycle batteries, today announced its foray into the Indian market.
The Kerala-based Manikandan Dunamis Private Limited would be the master distributor of Trojan batteries in India.
The formal announcement was made at the launch of the Trojan battery by US Consul General in Chennai Ms Jennifer McIntyre in the presence of Trojan Battery CEO Jeff Donald Elder.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Jeff Elder said the battery provides power for a wide variety of golf, electric vehicle, aerial work platform, transportation, floor scrubber, renewable energy, recreational and auxiliary power applications.
Trojan batteries have been successfully used in worldwide in the harshest tropical conditions and its applications include golf cars, off-grid solar energy, rural telecom and boats.
