Trouble for Salman Khan: SC issues notice

NEW DELHI, July 9:
The Supreme court today issued notice to Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the black buck hunting case.     The apex court issued notice on a petition filed by the Rajasthan government challenging Rajasthan High Court’s order staying his conviction and sentence in the case.    Khan was sentenced to five years imprisonment by the trial court and High Court granted him interim stay during the hearing of his appeal.
The state government, in its petition, has contended that there was no justification for staying his conviction in the case.(UNI)
