JAMMU, Dec 4: A delegation of Buta Nagar TRT, led by Ashok Kumar Dhar today met Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, M L Raina and DC Relief here, today and discussed the problems of migrants with them.
The delegation demanded restoration of RBA status to migrants of RBA areas of Valley, allotment to quarters to individual families at Mattan and other migrant camps in Kashmir Valley.
The delegation discussed the water scarcity issue of Buta Nagar camp and demanded blacktopping of lane in the TRT. The RRC and DC Relief assured the delegation that the problems will be settled on priority basis. The delegation also assured full coordination to the Relief Organization and fully acknowledged the steps taken by the organization in settling the migrants’ problems.
