SAMBA, Sept 15: A truck conductor died under suspicious circumstances in the first phase of the industrial area here, today.
Police said on Friday morning it received information that a youth had died under suspicious circumstances inside the truck. The police reached the spot and took the body to the District Hospital, Samba for post-mortem. The deceased youth has been identified as Sat Pal, resident of Rajasthan, who used to work as a conductor with a truck.
The truck driver said that after having dinner at night, both of us slept inside the truck. In the morning, when I tried to awake him, he did not wake up, after which the police were informed. The police have taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigation. The dead body has been kept in the mortuary of the District Hospital Samba.
