DODA, Sept 13: Two persons lost their lives here today when a truck they were onboard skidded off the road and landed in 300 feet deep gorge in mountainous Doda district.
Official sources informed that the ill fated truck bearing registration number JK06-8747 met with the accident near Mahlori area on Doda-Kishtwar highway.
The deceased were driver and his helper and they were identified as Asif Ahmed, son of Afzal Hajam, resident of Bhagwah, Bhata and Amir Ahmed, resident of Saikhwan, Doda.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigations.
