SAMBA, Mar 16: A truck filled with wheat husk suddenly caught fire in the Nud area of Samba here today morning. According to the information received, truck PB06H-9950, which was carrying wheat husks from Fatehpur in Punjab, caught fire near Nud in the morning.
As soon as the truck driver came to know about the fire, he saved his life but within no time the fire spread further, initially the local people tried to control the fire but could not control the fire, after this the Fire Brigade Department was informed about it. The Fire Brigade Department personnel arrived and controlled the fire but by then it was too late and the truck was completely burnt to ashes. However, there is no news of anyone being injured. In this context, the police have registered a case and started further investigation.
