RAMBAN, Oct 9: A truck plunged into a gorge near Mehar, resulting into injuries to its driver.
“A speeding truck bearing registration number JK02AG-1567 skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Mehar on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway,” a police official said.
He said the driver of the truck namely Virinder Singh son of Jogga Singh, resident of Shah Dola (Jammu) got injured in the mishap. “The driver was rescued by Ramban police and shifted to District Hospital Ramban for medical treatment,” the official said, adding, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
