POONCH, May 12: A truck driver was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Mughal Road in Pir Ki Gali area under Surankote police jurisdiction in district Poonch last night.
The deceased has been identified as Balvinder Kumar, son of Kartar Chand, hailing from Hiranagar in district Kathua. Police said the vehicle got struck in a traffic jam at Mansar, near Pir ki Gali while the vehicle was on way back to Jammu from Kashmir side. ASI Maqbool Ahmed from Police Post Behram Galla said that cause of death was being ascertained. The body was sent to Surankote hospital for postmortem and conduct of other legal formalities. A case under section 174 CrPC was registered.
