KATHUA, Aug 9: To maintain a constant vigil and check on the vehicles entering J&K UT police has established checking points at various places.
As per reports now all the trucks crossing on Jammu -Srinagar National Highway will have to download a mobile App and pictures of truck driver and helper will be taken by JKP as a record.
SSP Kathua, Shailender Kumar Mishra said that in Kathua district, such check points have been established at two places on NH in its jurisdiction as a safety and security measure.
He said such check points have been established at various places on Jammu-Srinagar Nathional Highway right from Lakhanpur.
