LONDON, Feb 17: Actress Jennifer Lawrence, who is nominated for Oscars for her work in “Silver Linings Playbook”, says she does not want to think about what it might be like to win the coveted prize.
The 22-year-old said she is trying to keep her excitement in check. The Oscar ceremony will take place on February 24, reported Contactmusic.
“It’s very important to separate work from your personal life. If you don’t separate it, then it blends into your personal life. For my career – yes I hope, knock on wood – that I win, but I don’t have a personal interest in it.
“I am not going to cry myself to sleep if it doesn’t happen. I’m still going to be happy, I’m still going to be me, I’m still going to have my friends and I will be fine,” Lawrence said.
This is her second nomination after she was once in the run for the award for “Winter’s Bone” in 2011. (PTI)
