TTD to launch on-line traditional courses soon for global pilgrims

TIRUMALA, Dec 4:  With an aim to make every devotee of Lord Venkateswara to be aware of the basics of its culture, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will launch on-line traditional courses soon for the sake of global pilgrims.

Talking to reporters here today, TTD Special Officer (all projects),N Muktheswara Rao said, the temple management is also planning to integrate SVBC, Sapthagiri magazine, FM Radio, Oriental College, SV Vedic Varsity, Higher Vedic Studies and take up an integrated programme for imparting traditional awareness among masses.

“We are coming out with different modules soon, he said.     To start with importance of “Sanivara Vratam” in the form of a small book, it will be brought out in this month itself”, he observed.     TTD Public Relations Officer Dr T Ravi said, after yielding successful results with Srivari sevakulu in eight laddu Prasadam issuing counters, TTD will extend their services to four more counters after Sankranthi, he said.

He said, TTD is also inviting able bodied, educated, volunteers to render free services to pilgrims in laddu Prasadam issuing counters.     “Prior to their service, they will be properly trained and later deployed for service. Recently we have also supplied them hand gloves with an aim to maintain hygiene”, he added.
