Tuti appointed IO

JAMMU, Sept 8: The Government today appointed Bhim Sen Tuti as Inquiry Officer (IO) to enquire into the charges framed against an SP ranked officer.
As per an order issued by RK Goyal, Financial Commissioner/Additional Chief Secretary Home Department, Tuti will conduct an enquiry in terms of Rule 33 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, into the charges framed against Ashiq Hussain Tak, Superintendent of Police (SP), who is presently attached with PHQ, J&K
Further, it has been ordered that Jatinder Singh Johar, AIG (Training and Personnel), PHQ, J&K, shall be the Presenting Officer in the case.
“BS Tuti, the Inquiry Officer, in the case, shall complete the enquiry and submit the report to the Home Department within a period of 30 days from the date of the issuance of the order on September 8, 2023,” read the order.
