JAMMU, Sept 17: Teachers Welfare Association president, Jasmeet Singh Madaan has urged Commissioner/Secretary, B.K. Singh to release the final ATD list in respect of teachers as well as Masters at an earliest and hold DPC for Masters/ Teachers, Class IVth, Lab Assistant, Lab Bearer and Librarians and put an unending wait of these employees to halt.
“All homework regarding compilation of lists of various categories has been compiled meticulously by Commissioner/ Secretary and final lists are on cards, but the undue delay is causing frustration among the eligible transferees. We also reiterate our demand to hold DPC for Masters to Headmasters /ZEOs/ZEPOs so that stagnation since 2014 comes to an end and also many SRO employees who were posted as Class IVth/Lab Assistant, Lab bearer/Librarian are looking forward anxiously with the hope that they will be promoted very soon to their next grade. Although the seniority list has been released, it has rekindled the hope that very soon they will taste the promotion through your august hands soon,” Madaan said.
He urged Singh to open the floodgates of promotion, transfers of all cadres in a transparent manner so that stagnation ceases to exist and every employee in Education Department heaves a sigh of relief.
