Twelve-day food festival ‘Maritozzo’ begins at KC Residency

JAMMU, July 19: K C Residency today announced the launch of Maritozzo, a twelve-day Italian-Lebanese food festival, beginning today.
The festival will showcase a mélange of Italian and Lebanese cuisines prepared by Chef Kaushal Sharma and his expert team ready to deliver a menu mix with modern bites from across the Roman era.
Lebanese and Italian cultures share a strong emphasis on family, community, and a deep appreciation for food. Both countries have a rich history and a Mediterranean coastline, influencing their culinary traditions.
A statement said that the festival will feature an enticing combination of Italian and Lebanese flavors.
It said that one can enjoy appetizers like Kibbeh, Fatayers, Shawarmas, Falafel, Crostinis, Salmon tartar with beetroot and avocado, Pesto Garlic Buttered Prawns, Chicken Piccata, Stuffed Jalapeno Rolls, and Stuffed Mushroom Nuggets, indulge in main dishes such as River Sole Steaks, Grilled Fish with Sicilian Vegetable Caponata, Grilled Lamb Chops in Barbecue Sauce, Grilled Chicken Margarita, Honey Roast Chicken, Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina, Chicken Spinach and Cheese Ravioli, and Rustic Thin Crust Pizzas, and end the meal with delightful desserts like Crème Caramel, Sneaky Toffee Pudding, and Tiramisu.
