JAMMU, July 10: Udhampur police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest for the past over 15 years.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police party from Udhampur police station arrested an absconder namely Mohan Singh, son of Gager Singh of Ladha, Pancheri, who was evading his arrest for the past 20 years. He was wanted in a case registered under FIR No 40/1994 under Section 451 and 323 RPC.
Meanwhile, police team from Udhampur police station also arrested another absconder namely Parmjeet Singh, son of Rangeel Singh of Rajbagh, district Kathua, who was evading his arrest for the past 17 years. He was wanted in a case registered under FIR No 78/1997 under Section 188 RPC.
Police team headed by SHO Udhampur Police Station Inspector Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Gourav Mahajan and SSP Udhampur Mohammad Suleman Chowdhary.
