JAMMU, May 4: Bakshi Nagar and Gandhi Nagar Police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bakshi Nagar Police Station led by SHO Inspector Amit Sangra arrested an absconder, who has been identified as Mohitesh Sharma, son of Ved Prakash Sharma of Shakti Nagar, Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 91/2008 under section 149 RPC, 3/25 and 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Samba. Arrest warrant under section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by the Munsiff JMIC, Samba.
Meanwhile, a team from Gandhi Nagar Police Station led by SHO Inspector Sunil Singh Jasrotia apprehended an absconder, who has been identified as Sahil Kumar alias Dabri, son of Brahm Kumar Sharma of Janipur Colony, Jammu.
The accused was evading his arrest since 2017 in a case registered under FIR Number 62/17 under section 307, 382, 341, 325 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Gandhi Nagar. Arrest warrant under section 512 CrPC stands issued against him by Sub Registrar Court, Jammu.
Further questioning of the arrested persons is going on.
