JAMMU, Apr 1: Police today arrested two absconders, who were involved in bovine and charas smuggling cases, registered with Miran Sahib police station.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Miran Sahib police station led by SHO Ravi Singh Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Diwakar Singh and SP Headquarters Shailender Singh arrested an absconder namely Nadeem Khan alias Vijay, son of Abdul Rashid of Phinder, who was involved in bovine smuggling case.
The Miran Sahib police also arrested one more absconder namely Mushtaq Ahmed alias Sonu, son of Abdul Rashid of Phinder, who was involved in charas smuggling case.
Further investigation into the cases are going on.
