RAMBAN, Jan 24: Police here today arrested two absconders and produced them before the Court.
SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma constituted special Police teams to apprehend the absconders and these teams apprehended the absconders wanted in two different FIRs registered at Police Stations Ramsoo and Gool.
Case against the absconder Javid Ahmed Bhat, son of Abdul Majeed Bhat, resident of Banali, Tehsil Boniyar, Baramulla was registered in FIR with number 87/2019 U/S 279 IPC at Police Station Ramsoo and he was evading arrest with a motive to avoid legal proceedings.
A General Warrant of Arrest was issued by the Court in this regard and after hectic efforts cops arrested him and produced him before the Court of Law.
Against the other absconder Khurshid Ahmed, son of Abdul Aziz Manhas, resident of Dharam, Tehsil Gool, District Ramban, a case in FIR number 41/2023 U/S 452/304/323/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Gool and he was also evading arrest to avoid legal proceedings.
A General Warrant of Arrest was issued by the Court against him and he was arrested by the cops and produced before the Court.
Both absconders were arrested and produced before the Court under the supervision of SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma.
