JAMMU, Dec 24: Satwari police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest for the past several years.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Satwari police station conducted a raid in Bhour Camp area and arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since 2005.
The accused has been identified as Iqbal Singh, son of Mohinder Singh, a resident of Bhour Camp.
The absconder was involved in a case registered with Satwari police station under FIR number 124/2005.
Meanwhile, Satwari police also arrested another absconder namely Kulwant Singh, son of Hari Singh, a resident of Narwal Pain.
The accused was wanted in a case registered under Section 341 and 323 RPC with Satwari police station.
Further investigations into the cases has started.
Police team led by SHO Satwari police station Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Gandhi Nagar Harjeet Singh, SP South Rahul Malik and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
