Two arrested in attempt to murder case

JAMMU, Sept 17: Miran Sahib police arrested two persons in attempt to murder case today.
As per police sources, Mushtaq and his brother Nadeem Khan, sons of Rashid Chowdhary and residents of Phinder, Miran Sahib were attacked by miscreants with sharp edged weapons owing to some old rivalry.
The injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where they were undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
A case under relevant Sections was registered at Miran Sahib police station and hunt was launched to nab the accused.
Based on reliable information, a team from Miran Sahib police station conducted raid and arrested two persons including the main accused.
The accused have been identified as Ashok Digra alias Tilu, son of Om Parkash, a resident of Phinder and Rakesh Kumar alias Sunny, son of Mohan Lal, a resident of Phinder, both residents of Bishnah. Police also recovered the weapons used in the crime.
Manhunt is going on to nab other persons, who were also involved in this case.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Pawan Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
