JAMMU, Apr 7: Bishnah Police arrested two persons for selling smuggled liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Vinod Kundal under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh conducted raid and apprehended two persons along with 53 bottles of smuggled liquor, which they were selling among the common masses to make illegitimate profits.
The arrested persons were identified as Ashwani Kumar, son of Tara Chand of Nomain Tehsil Katra District Reasi and Mohammad Yousaf, son of Nazir Ahmed of Teli Basti Tehsil Bari Brahmana District Samba.
A case under FIR Number 58/2022 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
